Who Am I?
My name is Shannon Fillmore, I'm from North Providence Rhode Island and have lived here
my whole lifeI'm a sophomore, but this marks my first semester at RIC. I transferred to RIC from the
University of New EnglandWhile enrolled at the University of New England I was an Animal Behavior major.
I'm now a secondary education,
history major
Why did I choose Secondary Education, History as my major?
I chose secondary education, history as my major because I've always loved history and my teachers throughout
my educational journey have inspired me. My favorite period of history to study in the American Revolution.
What do I do for fun?
Some things that I enjoy doing for fun are playing video games, for example I really enjoy FPS games such as Marvel Rivals, Overwatch, and Valorant although I also enjoy exploration and story games. I also am an avid reader, my favorite genre(s) are fantasy and romance. I don't have any favorite books because I enjoy them all equally.
